Musical time capsule : A decade ago in 2012, I arrived back in Crestone, Colorado. After a stint in LA. Originally I went to Hemet, CA to stay with Jeff Hanneman (Slayer) & Ruyter Suys (Nashville Pussy) and work on new music for our project. I went home with no guitar tracks, I was bummed. I called it moving at the speed of rockstar. The only track I made in Jeff’s dining room is Too Close to Stop. So in response I went home and made a new song every morning with Guitars, Bass, Drums in my little one room cabin at 9000 ft. I improvised every track, instruments, and vocals. I decided to leave it in its original state. This record is in the middle of the timeline between two unreleased records that contain my collaborations with Jeff & Ruyter… not sure when I will finish and release How to Melt Metal, and As Below, So Above. In the meantime have a listen to Just Abandon The Cave. It’s subject matter fits tight now. I’m only ten years behind on releases. I have several more to release so I can get current with my two newest records that I’m making right now.
